    FOUNDER

    Jesús F. Limón is an architect, educator, and photographer based in San Diego. He is the founder and principal of Prismática, an architecture and design practice established in 2012. Through architectural practice and pedagogy, his work explores the intersection of architecture, cities, and the cultural forces that shape everyday urban life throughout the San Diego-Tijuana region. 

    Prior to founding Prismática, Limón collaborated with Germen Estudio and Estudio Teddy Cruz + Fonna Forman, contributing to architectural design, exhibitions, and urban research. Alongside his professional practice, he has taught architectural design studios at the NewSchool of Architecture & Design and Woodbury University. His teaching examines architecture as a cultural and urban practice.

    PRINCIPAL

    José F. García (Pancho) is an architect, builder, and educator working across the San Diego-Tijuana region. He is co-founder and principal of Prismática, an architecture and design practice established in 2012. Through architectural practice and construction, his work explores the relationship between design, craft, and the built environment. 

    Prior to founding Prismática, García collaborated on research, institutional, and laboratory projects with RFD (Research Facilities Design) and worked with Dodd and Associates on structural design in San Diego. Alongside his professional practice, he has taught architecture and design studios at several institutions.
